Update to Monday’s post about the water shutoff for the Maple and Pine tie-in. The boil water notice given to Maple Street households after Tuesday’s work has been lifted. Lab samples came back clean today, and the water is safe to drink and use normally again. It was the only boil water notice in town, so there are none in effect now.
If your water sat unused for a while, run the cold tap for a few minutes before drinking it. Toss any ice made while the notice was on, and if you want, run the dishwasher or washing machine through one empty cycle.
Thanks to everyone on Maple for putting up with the shutoff and the boiling. If your water still looks cloudy, has air in it, or anything else seems off, call or email us.
