The Town of Bristol is seeking citizens interested to serve as the Town Health Officer. The THO is responsible for investigating possible public health hazards and risks within the town and working with the Selectboard as the Board of Health. Medical training is not necessary; knowledge of building trades is helpful. The THO is appointed by the Vermont Commissioner of Health to a 3-year term upon recommendation by the Selectboard.
