The Bristol Recreation Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created in 1921. The club’s mission is to maintain outdoor recreation space for the amusement, enjoyment, and recreation of the residents of Bristol, Vermont.

The club own 10 acres on Airport Road which are open to the public and available to rent for community and sporting events. The Bristol Recreation Fields include three baseball/softball diamonds, large open areas for assorted field sports, horseshoe pits, tennis/pickleball courts, an ice skating rink, bike/skate park, picnic pavilion, a concession stand with full kitchen, and of course: the signature Grandstand (aka “Big Red”), which is a town landmark.

The club also maintain the Bristol Trail Network, a collection of multi-use trails throughout the community.

The facilities are maintained by club members, volunteers, and a few contracted services. The club would like to thank the entire community for all of the support and help they receive every year to keep these facilities in great shape. The Club obtains its funds from grants, donations, member fees, user fees, and an appropriation from the Town of Bristol.

The membership oversees the club under the leadership of elected trustees and a board to operate the daily business of the club.
