Bristol West Water Project: Taylor Avenue Work Continues June 1, Maple Street Next 🚧
The Bristol West water system project continues next week with water main installation on Taylor Avenue, with work shifting to Maple Street once Taylor is complete.
This week’s progress:
Elm Street: Water main installation is complete except for the eastern 200 feet near North Street. Munson will return to finish that section at a later date.
Taylor Avenue: Installation began Wednesday, May 28, working northward from the Elm and Taylor intersection toward Pine Street.
Next week (week of June 1):
Monday through Wednesday, June 1 to June 3: Work continues on Taylor Avenue. Munson anticipates completing the majority of the Taylor Avenue watermain by midweek.
After Taylor Avenue wraps up: Crews will move to Maple Street to begin watermain installation there.
What to expect:
🕖 Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
🚗 Traffic: One lane will remain open through the work zone. Please drive slowly, expect short delays, and follow all flagger directions when entering or passing through the area.
🏠 Access: Driveway access for residents will be maintained whenever possible.
