What Is Happening?
The Town of Bristol has begun replacing aging water lines in the Bristol West area. This project will upgrade the underground pipes that deliver drinking water to homes and businesses on the west side of town. The work is being performed by Munson Earth Moving Corporation under the direction of the Town and its engineering firm, VTM Engineering.
Construction is underway. Residents in the project area will see activity on local streets over the coming months.
Why Does This Matter to You?
Old water lines can fail, reduce water pressure, and affect water quality. Replacing them now protects your drinking water and reduces the risk of unexpected service interruptions. This investment in Bristol’s water system is designed to serve the community reliably for decades to come.
What Will Be Covered at the Meeting?
Town staff and project partners will walk you through:
• Where construction is happening and which streets are affected
• The phasing plan — what gets done, and in what order
• What to expect as a resident during active construction
• How the project is being paid for
• Your questions, answered on the spot
Who Will Be at the Meeting?
The meeting will be led by Greg Faust, Town Administrator. Joining him will be Steve Palmer, P.E. of VTM Engineering (engineer of record), Darin Revard of Munson Earth Moving (contractor), and Jill Marsano of VTUMS (water and wastewater operator). The full project team will be available to answer your questions.
This meeting is open to all residents. No registration required. Questions are welcome.
If you need accommodations to participate, please contact the Town Office at (802) 453-2410.
